It was Saturday of early December, 9 am flight Vegas to Dallas (back home) I was on a work trip & despite crazy travelling, late nights I chose a morning flight back home so I can make it ,just in time for the NBA game Dallas Mavericks Vs. Houston rockets. I am not missing my favorite Mavs for anything in this world. Dallas mavs invited me to see the game with my family & Valmic my husband was beyond thrilled when he heard that.
But I had a challenge ahead of me, where will I leave my 2.5 year old son ? I mean if you go to a game like this you want to be free so you don’t miss out on any strikes. You don’t wanna deal with diapers & milk & baby food in the middle of an intense game. BUT , Dallas Mavs had a plan for moms like me. They planned a winter wonderland party in the beginning of the game. There was fun activities & all winter/Christmas characters for kids like Mr & Mrs Santa, Reindeer, Snow man etc. It was first time my son met a Santa, was definitely an awee moment. We got some family photos clicked at the photo booth & With all the characters. When the band was playing drums, my little was way ahead & enjoyed more then us, he was dancing on the tunes. It was nothing but pure fun. This party will be on for a long time for games ahead.
We reached our seating area & were almost returning back, until I asked the lady at the bar. “This is your place & welcome to the Mavs premium level suite she said” I was like woah!! someone please pinch me, yes! we were sitting in a suite where we had a bar for champagne, wine & beer. Soft toys for kids, and a food, A lot of food 🙂 It was nothing but an absolute experience.
The tip-off started at 5 pm, and I was a couple of Chardonnay’s down already, and my little one was busy with his soft toys & chips & cake. We kept on cheering for our Mavs, socializing with other fellow bloggers , while our kids had enough space to move around. The suite by the way can we booked for large group of people, if you want to celebrate something along with the game, booking a suite is a perfect option for you.
The game was extremely intense, Dallas Mavericks extended their home-court winning streak to nine games with a 107-104 victory over the Houston Rockets with Doncic scoring 11 consecutive points in the fourth quarter. Last few scores changed the game &Mavs were the shiny stars of the evening. And I, 5 drinks down, was screaming & dancing out of excitement hugging & kissing my little family in our platinum level suite with joy. Dallas Mavs you are the stars of Texas & we love you.
